"Are you in Superwoman Syndrome?" We spend eight, sometimes nine in crunch time up to ten hours a day with people that we don't... You think I'm going to say like. I'm not going to say like. People we don't choose to put in our life. We don't choose who we spend the majority of our life with. And if your life is anything like mine, at the end of the day when I've had a lot of people in my life and I've been in superwoman syndrome, I find myself standing at the cooktop, stirring cooking supper, saying back away from the mama, give me 5 minutes to decompress and a glass of red wine would help. And, who agrees that's not how you want to spend the precious amount of time that you have with the people who you do choose to put in your life, who hopefully you like. Right? And the challenge is that the more time we spend in superwoman syndrome, where we're getting great results, but we're also expending enormous amount of energy, we've got nothing left for the people that we choose to put in our life. In the time together, we're going to explore one and only one goal, and that is for you to take home a new tool to drive peak performance. And I mean the kind that when you're doing your favorite whatever. 'How many people bake?' 'How many people garden?' Keep your hands up. 'How many people play sports?' 'How many people work out?' 'How many people craft?' 'How many people ski?' 'How many people sunbathe?' 'Have we left anybody out pet for a family?' Whatever it is that exhilarates you, that's what we're looking to create. And I call it 'Currency', because we exchange it for peak performance. And yes, we are paid money for what we do. I mean, it wouldn't take long before you showed up and they weren't paying you before you go peace out baby, right? But this is different and far more powerful. It's what we value in life that is non-monetary and all of the studies back it up whether it comes from Harvard Business Review, McKinsey, Emerald Insight, Oxford Learning. It all points to the fact that if found that non-monetary rewards were stronger predictors of intrinsic motivation, which leads to better performance and innovation and healthier human beings. Money's not the best motivator for work performance, particularly when compared to non-monetary rewards. Non-monetary rewards have a positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction of the employee. Three independent studies, the last one as early as January 2024. So what do we do? What are we talking about when we are talking about currency? There are eighty-eight facets that I've identified that people work hard for to get out of what they do. And I divided those based on the work of doctor Schwartz into eight different dimensions.
